Nautica Men’s N14538G NST Chronograph Watch Review

First off just to clear thing up: the watch that you get is NOT the watch in the amazon photos but is the watch in reviewer Pimentón’s photos. Just a head’s up. What you get is a big, sharp chronograph with a great, clear face and a thick eye catching band to match. The orange stands out and the face is stunning. I’ve been getting compliments on this watch from the minute I strapped it on. In the course of the first week owning it it has been in a pool, Lake George, Coney Island and a hot tub. Not a single problem to report. It’s a great summer watch. I’m strongly considering getting the blue face/band one for the non-summer months. Yeah, it’s that good.

This watch is incredible. It’s honestly not too big at all … the oversize goldtone version of this is much bigger. EVERY time I wear it out, I get compliments on it from girls AND guys. Cartier Men’s W10125U2 Must 21 Chronoscaph Stainless Steel and Black Rubber Chronograph Watch Review

I was looking for this model all around the internet and by going to different stores. I was able to save almost a 30% by doing the purchase through Amazon.

The only problem: As Amazon is not an authorized retailer, they dont give you the Stamped Certificate of Authenticity, which usually comes on the booklet or instructions book, and it contains an hologram from Cartier, The Serial Number and a stamp with date of the Store.

However I have already gone to a Cartier Dealer in my City and the Watch is 100% authentic and didnt have any problem with it. So, its not a big deal at the end… Many people on Ebay and other sites sell their watches with no box, instructions or warranty whatsoever.

I would also like to remark that Amazon offers the industry leading Amazon.com 2-Year Watch Warranty and does stand behind the item and will guarantee the authenticity of the watch.

If you are interested. I recommend it. I certainly looks great on my wrist!!!

Invicta Men’s 6685 Subaqua Collection Noma III Chronograph Stainless Steel Watch Set Review

This watch is really a substantial piece. I do not feel that it is too big (and I have an average size wrist), however it is indeed a hefty watch. As noted in other reviews, it does garner many compliments and a bit of attention. The seller: My Timepiece shipped quickly, and has great customer support. A note of caution: as other reviews have stated, the 4 screws at the top of the band (closest to the watch) DO work their way out in very short order (within 8 hours of first wearing it ) and very likely will be lost (mine were). The fix is to back the screws out completely BEFORE you ever wear the watch, and apply a bit of liquid thread lock (available at a hardware or automotive store) to the threads and screw them back together. If these screws are lost you will be required to either returning the watch for a new one (shipping cost is all yours) and applying the thread lock to the the screws on the band of the new watch, or calling Invicta and asking for replacements and waiting a long time to get them.

Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. Citizen Men’s AT0200-05E Eco-Drive Chronograph Canvas Watch Review

I purchased this watch about a month ago. I am very pleased with the purchase and have only two things to comment on.

The strap length, it is a bit short and I would say I have average size wrists for a 6′0″ guy. That being said I buckle it into the 2nd hole from the end.I would prefer it to be 1 maybe 2 more inside but then you would have that overhang so I have learned to appreciate it.

The strap color. In the picture it appears to be a tan tinted olive drab when in fact it is a very full green olive drab. I like it better but yeah it looks a bit different than it does in the picture.

All and all it is a quality watch and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I would definetly recommend this watch.

To set the time *(refer to full-setting instructions here: Manual ):

1. Pull the crown out to the time correction position when the second hand has reached the 0 seconds position.
2. Turn the crown to set the time. The 24-hour hand moves in conjunction with the hour hand. Pay attention to AM and PM when setting the time.
3. Securely return the crown to the normal position in synchronization with a telephone or other time service.

To set the date:

1. Pull the crown out to the date correction position.
2. Turn the crown to the right to set the date. The crown turns freely and the date does not change if the crown is turned to the left.
3. If the date is set while the time on the watch is between the hours of about 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM, the date may not change on the following day. If this happens, set the date after temporarily moving the hands to a time other than between the above times.

Using the Chronograph*:

The chronograph function of this watch is able to measure and display elasped time up to 59 minutes, 59 seconds in 1 second units. After 60 minutes have elasped, each of the chronograph hands automatically stop at the 12:00 position.
   
    Chronograph Timing:

1. Start timing by pressing button (A). The chronograph is repeatedly started and stopped by pressing button (A).
2. Pressing button (B) resets the chronograph to 0 seconds.

    *Note: Do not subject the chronograph to strong impacts while chronograph timing is in progress. Subjecting the watch to a strong impact during chronograph timing or when the chronograph has stopped automatically after 60 minutes have elasped can cause the chronograph minute hand to shift out of position. If this happens, press button (B) to reset to the 12:00 position before using the chronograph again.

TAG Heuer Men’s CAH1011.BA0854 Formula 1 Grande Date Chronograph Watch Review

I had tried on a variety of Tag Heuer Formula 1 watches before buying this watch (Grande date without chronograph, chronograph, etc.) but was looking for something with a little more. This watch definitely has that something extra. It is very solid and heavy but yet doesn’t feel that way when on your wrist, it is surprisingly comfortable to wear (you forget you have it on quite quickly which I credit to the band). The face is large (something I look for in a watch) and with the contrasting sections on the face it really stands out. The band is VERY comfortable and the best of any watch I have worn, the links have just enough play to be comfortable. All in all a 10/10 I would say. Also, the pictures on Amazon don’t do it justice, google images of this watch and you will see there is more detail to the face, it really is striking.

I guess the only down side is that if you are looking for a white face it is slightly silver-ish (only slightly) and not a true white, but that wasn’t a huge downfall for me.
