First off just to clear thing up: the watch that you get is NOT the watch in the amazon photos but is the watch in reviewer Pimentón’s photos. Just a head’s up. What you get is a big, sharp chronograph with a great, clear face and a thick eye catching band to match. The orange stands out and the face is stunning. I’ve been getting compliments on this watch from the minute I strapped it on. In the course of the first week owning it it has been in a pool, Lake George, Coney Island and a hot tub. Not a single problem to report. It’s a great summer watch. I’m strongly considering getting the blue face/band one for the non-summer months. Yeah, it’s that good.

This watch is incredible. It’s honestly not too big at all … the oversize goldtone version of this is much bigger. EVERY time I wear it out, I get compliments on it from girls AND guys. I love that it’s waterproof so I never have to take it off when washing dishes, at the beach, etc. It matches everything and looks great with anything — dressed up to go out at night or a casual day shopping for groceries. I found this watch on Amazon for cheaper than I could find at the mall. I paid 0 instead of 0 or whatever retail was.

I like that it is titanium and sort of a gun metal color. The mesh band is cool too, and its simple to adjust the clasp for sizing.

The face is nice and large, but not too big.

It is a “sleek” or “low profile” watch, so it doesn’t weigh a ton or seem like you have a big hunk of metal on your arm.

The functions are 12 hour time, date, day of week, and 24 hour (military) time. It took me a little while to figure out how far to pull out the bar when adjusting the date and day of week, but it works fine.

I says it is water resistant to 3 ATM, so I don’t know how pressure translates to depth, but either way it seems okay to get wet in the shower or if you fall in the pool or something. I would leave it at home if I was scuba diving though.

It looks nice, not too shiny, and goes with anything. I’m glad I got it.

I was looking for this model all around the internet and by going to different stores. I was able to save almost a 30% by doing the purchase through Amazon.

The only problem: As Amazon is not an authorized retailer, they dont give you the Stamped Certificate of Authenticity, which usually comes on the booklet or instructions book, and it contains an hologram from Cartier, The Serial Number and a stamp with date of the Store.

However I have already gone to a Cartier Dealer in my City and the Watch is 100% authentic and didnt have any problem with it. So, its not a big deal at the end… Many people on Ebay and other sites sell their watches with no box, instructions or warranty whatsoever.

I would also like to remark that Amazon offers the industry leading Amazon.com 2-Year Watch Warranty and does stand behind the item and will guarantee the authenticity of the watch.

Got this watch yesterday. So far it’s good. Nice watch, the size is a little bit small. It charges in the sun. Like other people said, it’s hard to change the date. If you want to change the date fom 1 to 30… take your time.

Two things I don’t like:
First, The date shows in the date window. The position will change after half day. Even in the afternoon, it will show 90% of current date and 10% of next day. Usually the date will change after 20:00 for other watches.
second: the band is designed with certain curve. You need to be careful if you have small wrist.

This Aquaracer automatic was an excellent buy! The price was great at 0.00! I own many automatic watches and this one is becoming one of my favorites. The fit and finish of the band, face, are all nice. The timing is extremely easy to read in any light! The diver artwork on the back of the watch is done very nicely.

I do have 2 problems with the watch though. When I recieved the watch, the international warranty card was missing. Amazon does warranty the watch for 2 years. I contacted Amazon about this. They responded with a regret the card was missing and reiterated they warranty the watch for 2 years, however there was nothing they could do about the card. I was able to register the new watch on the Tag Heuer web-site for warranty coverage.

The other problem is the bezel is VERY hard to rotate. After rotating it a couple of times it did seem to be getting easier. However it is still the most difficult bezel to rotate of any watch I have.

**** Since I originally wrote this review I have been watching the timing. Now that I have had the watch for over 2 months, the timing is not what I would have expected for a Tag Heuer. I keep the watch in a winder when I’m not wearing it, so that is not the problem. The watch is gaining 8 seconds per day, every day. It is precisely 8 seconds EVERY DAY, so the mechanics of the watch are excellent. I’m sure if Tag had subjected this watch for COSC certification this would have been adjusted. Oh well.

This is a great everyday watch with a clean appearance and is easy to read. I purchased this watch to wear to work b/c some clients take the type of watch I wear into consideration in making a decision on accepting or declining a proposal (sad but true). My “pride & joy” is a Rolex Submariner model 16610 — a true classic timepiece that is not overly flashy.. one in which I LOVE wearing. And my other watch is an all stainless steel Timex Chrono which doesn’t look like a Timex until you read the name printed on the dial.

So in my quest to reach a happy medium b/w Timex & Rolex, this is the watch I chose. I wanted a watch that looked classy & sophistocated without someone else knowing how much I spent on it (on either end of the spectrum). I also considered Tissot & Tag but being nit-picky about appearances, I didn’t like how Tissot puts the letter “T” on their second hand & I couldn’t find a Tag with a blue face that I found appealing. One could definitely argue that this is not the watch of watches but for a reason I can’t explain, this one had the “it” factor.

One thing that is a huge disappointment for me is the crown is not the screws down type, which is why I rated it with 4 stars. Even my inexpensive Timex has a screw down crown. I’m very disappointed that a watch that retails for 5 (although you can get this model for <0 online) did not have that feature.

Pros: Nice styling; The blue color is REALLY cool looking; Comfortable to wear. Even though the crown is not the screw down type (VERY DISAPPOINTING), it does have “shoulders” above & below the crown. Swiss Made. Does not “tick” very loudly. Not overly shiny. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal.

Cons: NO SCREW DOWN CROWN!!! The numbers do not have the luminous material on them. The minute & hour hands do however it is a very thin line; almost to the point of not being worth having but I haven’t tried to look at it in the dark yet. You may also want to be aware that the bezel is aluminum, not stainless. The band is nice however I’m a little nervous about the “deployment” clasp. I’ve previously owned a Movado that had a similar type clasp that didn’t work worth a darn but this one has a latch & the Movado didn’t. Hopefully this one will work better!

This is my first G-shock watch by Casio and I absolutely love it! It is a bit heavier and larger than my 11 year old swiss army watch, but I have gotten accustomed to it quickly. It is somewhat complicated to use, but I think I have it figured out now, and it probably took 60-90 minutes with the user manual. I do not have a problem with the slow movements of the hands when changing modes and time zones as some have commented; it is an analog watch, afterall, and not digital. The stopwatch is kind of lame because it does not go beyond 60 seconds after rotating a full 360 degrees. If you want a quicker-acting watch with full stopwatch capability, then get something digital.

Also, the automatic calibration with the atomic clock in Colorado is difficult to get signal reception in south florida; I’ve only had one successful sync in the past 1 week. Not a big deal, though, because you can set the time manually if needed.

I’ve been wearing the watch while running in the Florida summer and swimming too. It seems to shrug off my abuse without problem. The watch face has excellent readability under water or when wet. I like the resin band, it doesn’t get stinky like leather/fabric bands and is not restrictive like a metal band. The glow-in-the-dark hands are sufficient for nighttime use and a nice feature. The alarm is a bit of a pain to set and requires patience, but it works in a pinch; I would agree with other reviews on the alarm not being very loud. And the 24 hour clock is not totally worthless like some have suggested, I have used it a couple of times to confirm my am/pm times.

And lastly, the watch looks fantastic and can be worn for any occasion! It’s a great watch for a reasonable price. I would definitely buy it again and I am very pleased.
